Move Read READY!™ (Ages 3–5)
A joyful hour-long class that prepares young children for reading through movement, music, and playful sound exploration. Children build early literacy skills while singing, moving, balancing, and discovering how letters and sounds work together.
Strong early sound awareness is one of the most important foundations for learning to read—and we make that learning playful, musical, and fun. Class options include learning and playing alongside their caregiver to make foundational learning supported, memorable, and safe.

Move Read READY!™ we integrate movement, rhythm, and sound because early literacy is not just a cognitive process—it is a whole-body experience.
Through intentional movement, children build the foundational systems that support reading:
- Balance helps children sit upright, focus, and visually track across a page
- Body awareness supports pencil control, spacing, and coordination
- Bilateral movement strengthens left-to-right tracking and decoding
- Rhythm builds phonological awareness—the ability to hear and work with sounds in words
- Visual tracking supports following lines of text smoothly
These skills are not taught in isolation. They are experienced through:

Did you know that only 47% of kindergarten students are prepared and reading at grade level?* The nation's children are experiencing a continued decline in literacy and school readiness that can be attributed to many factors including over reliance on screentime, a decline in children's book sales, and changes in family daily reading habits.
Research across neuroscience and education shows that movement, rhythm, and body awareness play a critical role in developing the foundational skills required for reading.
Move Read READY!™ mission is to re-humanize early literacy instruction through movement-based and sound exploratory learning to empower Pre-K learners for school readiness and to support caregivers with reading acquisition strategies to close the literacy gap and build stronger families and communities.
Move Read READY!™ was created to help young children build the listening, language, and confidence skills that support learning to read and to assist caregivers with at-home literacy strategies.
Research shows that strong early sound awareness is one of the most important foundations for reading success. Through joyful movement, music, and playful exploration of sounds and letters, Move Read READY!™ classes help children develop these essential skills in a warm and engaging environment.
